A focused and linear palate which is richly textured with flinty acidity. Creamy grilled cashew nut is matched with depth of citrus fruit flavour and drive, completed by a long seamless finish. Vintage 2022: Subject to change without notice.
Selected parcels of fruit's delivered to our Hanwood premium cellar, where it is destemmed and lightly crushed before being pressed. Part way through fermentation, the juice is racked and transferred to French oak barrels, using a mixture of puncheons and barriques to develop complex oak characters. Individual barrels are carefully chosen to undergo malolactic fermentation and undergo battonage (lees stirring) for three months to develop a creamy, textural palate.
