The Calabria Family Wine Group, proud owners of McWilliam’s Wines, is honoured to announce the retirement of Ivo Sartor. Ivo has been a cherished member of our team for over five decades, whose dedication and passion have been integral to our success.

Ivo joined McWilliam’s winery on the 28th of August 1970, at the ripe age of 15 years old, learning the ropes from the ground up and bringing an unwavering dedication of hard work. Today Ivo is the longest serving, non-family member of McWilliam’s Wines and over the years, Ivo has been a cornerstone of McWilliam’s winemaking facility, contributing to cellar operations including the premium wine cellar and maintenance department. His expertise, wealth of knowledge, and innovative spirit have left an indelible mark on the McWilliam’s brand.

Throughout his career at McWilliam’s, Ivo’s leadership and mentorship have inspired countless colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
