How To Make 8 Easy Summer Cocktails

Enjoy an endless summer with these delicious cocktails, featuring our lively and luscious Fruitwood range. Whether you’re at a BBQ or relaxing on a Sunday afternoon, you’ll find these easy drink recipes will keep you cool all season long.

Fruitwood White
Just like a sip of sunshine, this vibrant wine is full of sweet tropical fruit flavours with zesty citrus. Perfect for a summer session with the girls!

Island Time (serves 1)

  • 60ml Fruitwood White
  • 30ml White rum
  • Dash of vanilla essence extract
  • Splash of pineapple juice

Combine all ingredients together in a glass, stir and serve.

Punch Time! (serves 2)

  • 200ml Fruitwood White
  • 1/2 peach, thinly sliced
  • 50ml pink grapefruit juice
  • 1/2 cup ginger ale
  • Squeeze of lime

Combine all ingredients together in a jug, stir and serve.


Fruitwood Red
Thinking of a cheeky catch up with friends? With luscious cherry-sweet fruit characters and a smooth finish, this easy drinking wine is sure to make your night shine!

Mulled Wine (serves 4)

  • 1 bottle Inheritance Fruitwood Red
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 vanilla bean, split in half
  • 1 tablespoon whole cardamon pods
  • 1 teaspoon whole cloves
  • 1 tablespoon star anise
  • 1 teaspoon-size knob of ginger

Combine all ingredients together in a saucepan and simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Serve warm with orange peel and cinnamon sticks for garnish.

Sangria Olé (serves 6-8)

  • 2 bottles of Fruitwood Red
  • 125ml Brandy
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 2 lemons, sliced
  • 1 bottle lime flavoured soda
  • 60ml Triple Sec/Cointreau
  • Ice

Combine all ingredients together in a large jug and serve.


Fruitwood Pink
Catching up with the girls? With juicy strawberry, red cherry flavours and a citrus zing, this Fruitwood Pink is best shared with friends.

Flamingo Fizz (serves 1)

  • 100ml Fruitwood Pink
  • 20ml raspberry vodka
  • 40ml pink grapefruit juice
  • Chilled lemonade to top up

Combine all ingredients together in a glass and garnish with a cherry and orange peel.

Summer Session (serves 1)

  • 100ml Fruitwood Pink
  • 20ml peach liqueur
  • 1/4 peach, diced
  • Handful of mixed berries

Combine all ingredients together in a glass, stir and garnish with a couple of mint leaves.


Fruitwood Moscato
With hints of honey and peach, this easy to drink Moscato is delightfully spritzed with a lively finish. Serve chilled for a refreshing treat!

Moscato spritzer (serves 1)

Combine all ingredients together in a glass, stir and serve.

Pineapple Paradise (serves 4)

  • 750ml Fruitwood Moscato
  • 250ml Pineapple juice
  • Add crushed ice
  • 1/4 pineapple, cut in pieces
  • Pineapple wedge and mint to garnish

Combine all ingredients together in a large jug, stir and serve.
