Education plays a significant role at McWilliam's Wines, from increasing awareness about responsible service and consumption of alcohol to up-skilling trade and employees on wine knowledge. It is an integral part of who we are and what we deliver to our employees, our customers and consumers.
The McWilliam's Wines Academy offers three levels of qualifications accredited under the national Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF). We are an Approved Programme Provider in Australia for the internationally recognised Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET). These qualifications suit career paths in hospitality, wine retail, cellar door, airlines and general wine industry positions.
In 2010, McWilliam's Wines Academy will launch a Responsible Consumption of Alcohol course aimed at increasing awareness on alcohol and appropriate consumption.
