McWilliam’s Wines is proud to announce its new range of McWilliam’s Flavour Infusions. Inspired by the bygone era, McWilliam’s Flavour Infusions combines the richness of traditional fortified wine with exciting new flavours of coffee, strawberry and spice. A new concept in the fortified market, this range provides an opportunity to transcend the traditional ‘fortified wine’ category and appeal to those interested in mixology and experimental combinations.

McWilliam’s Senior Winemaker Russell Cody, has been crafting fortified wines for over 10 years and could see the potential in trying something different to get more people interested in this style of wine. “After trialling these a few years back with my 18 year old son and his friends, they hassled me for months about when it was coming out. They taste and smell like what they say on the label”, Cody said.

Cody continued that not many people know what ‘tawny’ or ‘apera’ is like – but they know what espresso coffee or strawberries tastes like.

Working with Mixologist Russ McFadden of the globally award winning Speakeasy Group, we have crafted a unique range of cocktails using each product to highlight its versatility and to encourage consumers to experiment. To check these out, visit our new website and discover your infusion…

The Range

McWilliam’s Strawberry Delight is tart and naturally sweet. A light and clean sip that will leave you surprisingly refreshed. Delicious and delightful.

McWilliam’s Spice Royale is the perfect balance of spice and sweetness. Classically smooth and warming, with hints of vanilla, brown sugar, dried fruit, cinnamon and oak. Decadent and delicious.

McWilliam’s Espresso Press combines deep and rich roast coffee bean flavour with a touch of dark chocolate balanced with a smooth finish.  Slightly sweet with a touch of bitterness at the end. Delicious and refreshing.
